Pluton Corporation (“Pluton Import”)

     ...was established in 2016 with the idea of importing and distributing high quality products and    solution geared towards technical equipment needed in the Field of Education and the Medical Sector.

We employ 35 personnel that serve our clients in different capacities. Our team has a combined experience of  over 25 years in the Medical Sector and over 40 years in the Education sector.

Our Medical department consists of teams of sales reps, Pharmacists and Medical Doctors that help us develop markets, conduct sales and provide after sales service.  Our Education department has Engineers and training staff that have facilitated the installation and training of teaching equipment in the fields of Civil and Electrical Engineering. 

Medical  Devices &  Drug Products

Pluton’s Medical and Pharmaceutical department is currently engaged in distributing high quality Medical Devices and specialized finished pharmaceutical products.  

Due to the close collaboration with internationally renowned manufacturers, Pluton is able to incorporate the following category groups into its product range: Diagnostic Devices, Infection Prevention and Control Devices, Biopsy Devices, Consumables and lifesaving Cardiology Devices.

Some of our Diagnostic Devices include, but are not limited to IVDs for Women’s health such as ovulation, UTI, and yeast infection rapid tests and various types of STD tests.  We’re currently in talks with a company to provide hospitals with diagnostic devices such as Hematology Analyzer, RT-PCR Amplification Analyzer, Immunofluorescence Analyzer and Immunoassay Analyzer. 

These specialized diagnostic devices enable our customers to conduct a range of tests that can analyze, identify and diagnose diseases such as various types of tumor markers, cardiac markers, various types of infections, hypertension markers, inflammation, and more. Some of our devices help identify and diagnose life threatening disease such as Malaria, Dengue, COVID-19 and more.
Our infection prevention devices include Autoclaves, sterilization accessories such as autoclave wrapping paper and tape. We also import and distribute examination gloves (lightly-powdered and Powder Free). 

Our Pharmaceutical Division is currently focused on providing products to address NCDs (noncommunicable disease). We primarily import and distribute oncology products and products that treat anemia, commonly associated with chronic kidney failure. 

Education Sector 

       Pluton’s goal is to primarily address the technological gaps that exist in Universities and teaching establishments through-out Ethiopia.  

    We work with the top Universities, TVET Colleges and Ministry of Education in Ethiopia by

providing them solutions that enables their students to reach their optimum potential.
